Clay shooting is a true field sport, enjoyed by people of all ages. Whether the clays are whizzing from the left or right, or even straight over your head, you'll need every inch of your concentration, wits and nerve to take aim and despatch the target!

The shooting school consists of competition-standard range and equipment, where our expert tutors will take novices through every aspect of clay pigeon shooting, and experienced guns can perfect their craft with the very best advice.

Our trap layout is excellent, so whether you want to shoot with light or heavy guns, soft or hard cartridges, you will be able to test your aim and accuracy, shooting a variety of 'birds'. The first few clays will surely pass by untroubled by your gun - but the adrenaline rush of the first time you 'dust' a clay is almost unsurpassed!

Our instructors are very experienced in both recreational & competition shooting, with AMICSI certification and the ability to give the best teaching to all levels of ability and experience.

Whether you've shot before or not, the best place to start with clays is an introductory lesson. Our AMICSI-qualified instructors will take you through the basics - stance, grip, aim and tracking a target across the sky, before letting you try your hand at dusting your first clay! There is a choice of how many shots you would like. To complete 25 shots it will take around half an hour, obviously the more you choose to shoot the longer the session will be.

Clays available Tuesday-Saturday 10am-5pm (no shooting Sunday, Monday, or between 12-1pm).
