Professional Driver Training

Established from many years of off road training experience, Yorkshire 4x4 are old names with a positive, fresh outlook on professional training. We are constantly striving for higher standards in Off Road Health & Safety and enhancing driver awareness and driving technique.

Companies in both the private and public sectors - from telephone companies to Local Authorities to the Emergency Services all employ key personnel whose role frequently involves dealing with rescue/repair situations in non-easily accessible environments. These staff members are highly trained experts within their job criteria - telephone and water engineers, doctors, vets, medics, Mountain Rescue - but in order to gain access to perform their duties they often need to drive in extremely hazardous terrain, climatic conditions, or at night.

Train to drive in all conditionsIt is of paramount importance that such key personnel understand how to utilise their four-wheel-drive vehicle to its maximum potential and in complete safety to themselves, their passengers and the vehicle itself.

Our structured courses reveal all the basic information and principles necessary to understand and practice off-road driving. However, at Yorkshire 4x4 we don't just tell you about it - we show you. After the brief theory sessions we then allow you to practice the techniques under the supervision of our expert instructors. Our research has proven that practical tuition is by far the most successful format to learn about off-road driving and thus have designed our courses as 100% field-based.

Health & Safety is a driving force behind our company. The vehicles we use are only of the highest standards, our instructors are in house qualified, our sites are regularly inspected and improved our training techniques have been proven through over 80 years of combined 4x4 instructing experience.

We offer a course to suit your precise needs. If you do not see it here, contact us and we will put together a syllabus to meet your exact requirements.
